From Ideation to Execution
IdeaTech💡 is a technical ideation event at TEXUS 2026 that challenges participants to transform innovative ideas into practical, technically sound solutions. The event evaluates creativity, problem understanding, logical reasoning, and teamwork through a structured two-round format.
In Round 1: Design & Pitching, teams receive problem statements and propose innovative solutions through a concise pitch, focusing on clarity, feasibility, and design approach. Shortlisting is based on innovation and presentation quality.
Round 2: Code Rally (Debugging) tests technical proficiency and adaptability. Shortlisted teams debug faulty or incomplete code within a limited timeframe, along with an ice-breaker activity, Block and Tackle, to assess teamwork under pressure.
IdeaTech💡 offers a hands-on, competitive environment that mirrors real-world technical challenges.

1. Teams must consist of 2-3 members. 2. The event duration is 3 hours and all rounds are time-bound. 3. Participants must be registered for TEXUS 2026 and carry a valid college ID. 4. Teams can bring their own laptops and required equipment. 5. Ideas must be original and developed by the team. 6. AI tools are permitted for research, coding, debugging, and implementation; however, the core idea and solution design must be the team's own. 7. Plagiarism, misconduct, or rule violations will lead to disqualification. 8. The decision of the judges and organizers is final.
